Buchanan bus station is an intriguing place. Many a keen ned spotter can come up here and be gauranteed some excellent specimens. This is because buses from just about every little ned ghetto within a radius of 30 miles from Glasgow city centre end up here at some point.
If you stand in the main area of the bus station and look towards the stances located at the other end of the bus station (just to keep a safe distance and not scare them off) and wait for a bus to arrive you may observe a rainbow of big berghaus jackets getting off the bus, especially Saturday lunch times. A wonderful piece of nedrothology to be enjoyed by all.
The bus station is also a mecca for the beggar ned. They can work very long shifts here and come into contact with a lot of foreign visitors. In fact a urine aura bearing a toothless grin and half a McDonalds cup may be the first bit of Glasgow character that a lot of foreign visitors come into contact with! Why do they rip half of the cup off anyway? Wouldn't it hold more if it was full?
Buchanan bus station has those strange orange metal seats located outside which look oh so tempting to a weary traveller but any person who sits down on these seats is simply adding themselves to a list of potential customers for the characters to exploit and will probably end up with some chips stuck to them anyway.
